Depressing

Kinda depressing for a Birthday Card, don't you think? Sure, you're saying that I remember you, which is all well and good. But it also implies that nobody else is remembering you. Not so happy a birthday now, is it?

Much better than I was expecting

I've seen so many skate movies come and go in the Portal. It was nice to finally see one that stood out. The only problem I had with it was that it didn't seem like the skater had much speed. Either speed up the background or make more foreground items to zip by the camera to create a sense of speed.

That was a very impressive movie. I especially liked how the action synced up with the music. And it's so nice to see frame by frame animation done with something other than blobs or sticks.
I'll be waiting for episode 2!

I miss the C64

My brother and I were just talking about this game the other day. I was straining to remember what the game looked like. So this movie came as a pleasant slap in the face. You even managed to capture the spirit of the game nicely. Thanks for bringing back pleasant memories!

Pacing

It's all about the pacing. This could've been great if some parts didn't drag on for soooooooo long. Listening to Stoner Dave was an excercise in patience. Now some parts in there were genuinely funny, though, so good job on that.

I want to see this, NOW! Best of luck working on the real thing. My only problem, of course, is with the voice. It's impossible to replace Bruce. But seeing as how only lines that he's recorded were used, I don't get why you didn't just use his voice. I'm assuming there will be some original content by the "and more" part and that you wanted to keep the voice consistent. Very nice job overall.

Yes, i know, bruce will not be voicing ASH, the only reason i did NOT use the voice in the trailer was so people would know that bruce is not in it... If i could afford bruce, i'd hire bruce, but i cant, so your stuck with me... im not gonna be doing a bruce impression either, but i WILL capture the character of Ash, i wouldnt do it if i couldnt... That's very cool, especially considering that you did it in just 6 hours. But yeah, it definitely needs sound. I take it you don't have Flash at home or you would've fixed that before submitting. Still, I liked it!
